Insurance, pricing and payment

Which insurance plans we accept, how billing works, our membership plan for uninsured patients, and financing.

In-network plans

• BlueCross BlueShield of Kansas City
• Humana PPO

We are not in-network with any HMO or DMO plan, and we do not accept Missouri Medicaid (MO HealthNet) or Kansas Medicaid (KanCare). If your plan is not listed, we will still file the claim for you as an out-of-network provider; most PPO plans pay a similar percentage out-of-network.

How billing works

We verify your benefits before your first visit if you give us your insurance information at least one business day ahead. Your estimated portion is due at the time of service. We file the claim; if insurance pays more or less than estimated, we refund or bill the difference within 30 days.

Membership plan for patients without insurance

$349 per year for an adult, $269 for a child under 14. Includes two cleanings, two exams, all needed X-rays, one emergency exam, and 15 percent off all other treatment. No deductibles, no waiting periods, no annual maximum.

Payment

We accept cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, HSA and FSA cards, CareCredit and Sunbit. Treatment over $1,000 can be split into monthly payments through CareCredit or Sunbit with approval at checkout.

Estimates

Any treatment beyond a routine cleaning gets a written estimate with the procedure codes so you can check with your insurer. We can give a fee range over the phone, but an exact fee requires an exam.
