Warranty, guarantees and comebacks

Our 3-year 36,000-mile warranty, what it covers, and how we handle a repair that did not fix the problem.

Repair warranty

3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first, on parts and labor for repairs done here. Honored nationwide at any TechNet shop if you are traveling. Exclusions: customer-supplied parts, used parts, wear items after normal wear (brake pads, wiper blades, tires), and damage from accidents, abuse or neglect.

If the problem comes back

Bring it in. If the same repair failed, we fix it at no charge. If it is a different problem in the same area, we diagnose it at no charge and quote the new repair. Either way, no diagnostic fee for a comeback within 30 days.

Diagnostic guarantee

If we diagnose a problem, you approve the repair, and it does not fix the symptom, we credit the cost of that repair toward the correct fix.

Price guarantee

The written estimate you approve is what you pay. If a job takes longer than we quoted, that is our problem, not yours.

Extended warranties and service contracts

We work with most third-party extended warranty companies (CarShield, Endurance, Protect My Car, dealer-backed contracts). You pay the deductible and any non-covered items; we bill the warranty company directly. Warranty company approval typically adds one to three business days.
